CLINICAL SUPERVISION

The Virginia Board of Counseling defines clinical supervision as “the ongoing process performed by a clinical supervisor who monitors the performance of a person supervised and provides regular documented face-to-face consultation, guidance, and education with respect to the clinical skills and competencies of the person supervised."
CSAC supervision can be provided in a group setting or one-on-one. The supervisee can have one to four hours per week of supervision between the supervisor and supervisee for a total of 100 hours. Supervision is paid by month, in advance, and refunds will not be provided for unscheduled absences. (See fees for costs).
